KAHUVA only deals with customers residing in Denmark.
Order
Goods/services can be ordered from KAHUVA.dk via our website at www.KAHUVA.dk or via telephone/email. All contracts are concluded in Danish. Unless otherwise stated, all prices quoted include VAT and other charges. Prices are current prices.
Payment methods
At KAHUVA.dk, all payments are processed and approved by Nets (PBS), which gives you optimal security in connection with your purchase.
We offer payment via credit card payment (Dankort, Mastercard, Visa, Maestro, VisaElectron, Diners Club and JCB Payment Cards), bank transfer or by invoicing.
When making a bank transfer, check, etc., you are not protected by the objection scheme.
We do not charge card fees. The amount will be charged to your card when the item is shipped. Expected delivery time can be found under the "delivery" section.
Subscription payments are also made on the same terms that payment is made when the item is shipped.
Delivery (all of Denmark)
Delivery is made by agreement with the customer for webshop orders. The customer chooses whether the customer wants delivery to their home address, company address or to a parcel shop. Kahuva uses GLS, as this is where we find the stability and service highest.
The delivery time is 1-2 business days.
Should there be unexpected errors or deficiencies in an order sent from us, please contact us as soon as possible after you have received the order.
If you have it delivered to your workplace, you can be sure that your bid will not be in vain. If you order for delivery to your private address and you are not at home when the mail arrives, you can pick up the package at the nearest parcel shop. Bring identification and the package number.
If you have not received your package, or if you have any questions, please contact GLS or KAHUVA.
Subscription shipments also have the same terms as the above delivery terms. The next delivery will be displayed on the customer's profile.

GLS is open Monday - Friday from 8:30-20:00 and Saturday from 10:00-15:00.
Attempted delivery
We will send you a tracking number via email when the package leaves our warehouse. You can use this to follow your package so you can see what day it will be delivered. If the post has gone astray, you can pick up your package at the nearest parcel box.
If you do not pick up your package at the delivery location or if you have provided an incorrect address, the package will be returned to KAHUVA. You will be charged the actual cost of this return. If you want the package sent again, you must purchase additional shipping.
If the package needs to be resent
If you have not received your goods and they have been returned to KAHUVA, the following costs apply:
For returned Parcelshop orders:
29 kr. For GLS returning it to KAHUVA
35 kr. For GLS to send the package back out
20 kr. GLS service fee (Diesel surcharge, capacity surcharge, VAT)
Total 84 kr.
Return from Private Delivery or Business Delivery
20 kr. For GLS delivering to parcel shops from Private/business
29 kr. For GLS returning it to KAHUVA
35 kr. For GLS to send the package back out
20 kr. GLS service fee (Diesel surcharge, capacity surcharge, VAT)
Total 104 kr.
Packages returned to KAHUVA will be destroyed after 30 days without contact.
If you have not contacted KAHUVA within 30 days of the date of shipment, KAHUVA reserves the right to destroy the coffee/food item and the sale will be lost. There will be no refund.
KAHUVA is not obligated to store uncollected food, but because we want to provide a high level of service, we offer 30 days of storage, where we can be contacted for the possibility of re-sending. We reserve the right not to store all uncollected items.
Sales abroad
KAHUVA unfortunately does not offer shipping abroad. If this is needed, you can contact KAHUVA directly by email to see the options.
Transport damage and other complaints
Should you unexpectedly receive a damaged package or discover damage to the product, we encourage you to contact us immediately so that it can be reported to the shipping company. Please send the report via our email info@kahuva.dk
Send the following to KAHUVA via email:
- Photo of box exterior
- Photo of damage
- Description of the damage
If you receive a package with visible damage – we encourage you to refuse receipt. The package will be sent back to us and we will file a case with the carrier.

Prices
All prices on KAHUVA.dk include VAT, unless otherwise stated. If there is shipping on the item, it will be shown in the shopping cart when you have added the items to the cart.
Complaints
The rules of the Danish Sales Act on defects may apply to purchases of goods.
When you shop with us as a consumer, you have a 24-month right of complaint. This means that you can either have the product repaired, exchanged, your money back or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation. It is a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect has not arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other harmful behavior.
The right to a complaint is limited by the natural durability of the product. A complaint must be made within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect in the product. If you make a complaint within 2 months of the defect occurring, the complaint will always be timely.
If the complaint is justified, we will refund your (reasonable) shipping costs. The item must always be returned in proper packaging, and remember to get a receipt for shipping so that we can refund your shipping costs.
As a company, you have a 6-month right of complaint.
If you experience any problems with your product, please contact us immediately via email info@kahuva.dk. We will then contact you immediately and arrange the next steps.
When you want to complain about a product, you must fill out an email and a copy of the purchase invoice.

Note: Complaint
Please note: We do not accept packages sent cash on delivery, without delivery or similar.
Remember that the product must always be returned in proper packaging, so it is always a good idea to save the original packaging. KAHUVA.dk is not liable for transport damage when returning the product if the package is not properly packed and the product is damaged during transport. This is solely a matter between the consumer and their carrier.
It is important that you as a customer describe the error as accurately as possible to us.
Remember that nothing may be sent back to our address before you have contacted us for further arrangements.
Right of withdrawal/exchange when purchasing online
As a consumer, you always have a 14-day right of withdrawal when shopping online - however, please note that coffee is exempt from the right of withdrawal.
You have no right of withdrawal when purchasing food and household goods, including food, as the right of withdrawal under Section 18(2) of the Danish Consumer Contracts Act does not apply to the delivery of goods that are likely to deteriorate or become obsolete quickly - including coffee.
The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you receive your goods or get the last goods in physical possession when it concerns an agreement for several different goods that are ordered in one order and are delivered individually.
You must notify us within 14 days of receipt that you wish to cancel your purchase. The notification must be given via email info@kahuva.dk . In your notification, you must clearly inform us that you wish to exercise your right of cancellation.
You cannot cancel by simply refusing to receive the goods without giving us clear written notice of this.
When purchasing a package offer, you can only choose to cancel the entire order and not just part of a package. For example, a package may consist of a plunger and a coffee grinder for a combined price – i.e. you cannot cancel half of a package.
Return
You must return your order to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel your purchase. This does not apply to coffee, which is a food product. You must bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You bear the risk of the goods from the time of delivery.
Lack of original packaging may possibly constitute a decrease in value, so to be sure to receive all the money back, it is recommended that the item is returned in original packaging - including espresso machines, coffee grinders, coffee machines, kettles, accessories and similar products that are delivered in an accompanying packaging.
When returning, it is important that you send the product as a package with a Track and Trace number so that the package's journey can be tracked.
The condition of the item when you return it
You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods caused by handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, properties and functioning of the goods. In other words, you can try the goods in the same way as if you tried them in a physical store, but you may not put them into actual use.
If the item has been tried on beyond what is described above, we consider it used, which means that if you cancel the purchase, you will only receive a part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the commercial value of the item.
Goods excluded from the right of withdrawal
The following types of goods are exempt from the right of withdrawal:
- Delivery of food, including coffee, other beverages or other goods for the household's current consumption, which are physically delivered to the consumer's home, residence or workplace as well as post offices, parcel shops, etc.
- Delivery of goods that are likely to deteriorate or become obsolete quickly,
- Delivery of sealed goods which, for health protection or hygiene reasons, are not suitable for return and where the seal has been broken after delivery.
- Agreements for specific urgent repair or maintenance work at the consumer's premises, which the consumer has expressly requested in advance,
You lose your right of withdrawal if you break the seal on goods that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons.
Refund of the purchase amount
If you regret your purchase, you will receive a refund of the amount you have paid to us. In the event of a decrease in value for which you are responsible, this will be deducted from the purchase amount.
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund the payment received from you. Once we have received the returned goods, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the date on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will make such a refund using the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. We will not pay for shipping or any other additional costs associated with your wish to withdraw from the purchase.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned item and inspected it.
Unopened and unused items will be refunded 100%. If the item has been used or treated in such a way that there is a decrease in value, this will not be refunded. The decrease in value will be assessed in each individual case. The decrease in value will also include the costs of professional cleaning of the product.
Business customers
For business customers there is no right of withdrawal unless otherwise agreed in writing between the customer and KAHUVA. Business customers are considered private companies, public institutions, associations, foundations and independent institutions.

To unsubscribe from all our email marketing, simply send us an email with your name and email address, and we will unsubscribe you from newsletters. You can also unsubscribe directly and automatically from the last newsletter received.

Privacy Policy

Your personal data belongs to you. You share your information with KAHUVA because you want to order a product. But we imagine that you would like to know why we need to use your personal data and how we process it. We would like to tell you that.
KAHUVA only uses the data you provide us in connection with ordering a product.
We use the following information:
- Name and address of buyer and recipient
- Telephone number
- Payment address
- Email address
- Payment method
- IP address.

As you probably understand, we need delivery address information so we can deliver your order.
2. Security
We protect the information you provide us with the most advanced technology so that no unauthorized person has access to it. Should it be necessary to share the information with a third party (read more under point 5), we require the company to treat your information as securely as we do and for the purpose for which it is intended.

We store personal data for as long as necessary to process your order and then we store it for our own use for a maximum of two years. After that, the personal data will be deleted unless we are required by law to store it for a longer period. For example, the law requires us to store payment information for five years.

Email from Emærket: After your purchase, you will receive an email from Emærket. Emærket is a non-profit legal organization whose purpose is to close down scam companies, ensure safe online shopping, and collect feedback from the purchase.
Advertising: You probably want to know everything about our wonderful selection, ongoing offers, competitions, etc. If you give permission, you can receive notifications about these via email or social media.
Newsletter: You can also choose to sign up for our newsletters. Then you will always receive the latest offers, news, coffee guides, etc. Do you no longer want to receive newsletters? You always have the option to unsubscribe via the link in our newsletters or write us an email.

You of course choose which information you send to us. This information is only stored for as long as is necessary to answer your question. We want to help you as best as possible.
5. Third party
In certain cases, we may share data with companies we work with, also known as third parties, in order to process your order.
5.1 We want to make sure that you can use our website in the best possible way and as personally as possible. Therefore, we may use statistics services such as Google Analytics to see how you use our site. Of course, we have security agreements with these companies so that IP addresses are anonymized. 6. Third countries
Some of the companies we work with are located in countries outside the EU. The legislation in these countries does not always provide the same protection of personal data as the EU. Therefore, we have entered into agreements with companies where they guarantee data protection.
